5ghz considerably slower than 2ghz
« on: September 29, 2014, 12:27:45 pm »
Howdy,

I am pretty sure this is user error but thought I would post here for some help.  While wired, my macbook pro is getting 100Mbps down and 5Mbps up.  When wireless, I get about 50 on 2.4ghz and 30 on 5ghz.

Is there something simple I am missing? Should the speeds be that much different than wired?

thanks

There is a known bug which causes garbled packets for Mac users which you are most likely experiencing. You can find more information here: http://forum.securifi.com/index.php/topic,1515.0.html .
