Unsupported sensors on iPhone App (iOS 7.1.2)
« on: September 30, 2014, 07:54:50 pm »
Hi,
I'm running R066 and recently saw, that the iOS app does not show the status of two of the sensors I've connected with the A+ while they're properly shown on connect.securifi.com:
Web: http://cl.ly/image/3i210b3E3J3P
App: http://cl.ly/image/0T0P3p0t1E1t

The GE Link bulbs work great. I guess the 99% are caused by sloppy sliding.

Sensors in use:
Ecolink Z-Wave Door/Window Sensor (DWZWAVE2-ECO) - http://forum.securifi.com/index.php/topic,1365.0.html
Ecolink Z-Wave PIR Motion Detector, Pet Immune (PIRZWAVE2-ECO) - http://forum.securifi.com/index.php/topic,1941.0.html

Is this a known issue that the app does not yet support specific sensors?

Thanks.

We're behind on the iOS app, these things will come, but right now we're working on fixing the iOS 8 issues.
As we have to add support in each of the UI's, it's taking some time to get everything in there.
That said, those are fairly basic sensor types and should work, so this is a bit strange.
I'm going to check with the software team as to what's going on here.

We have a new iOS app under review by Apple that'll add support for the door/window sensors, but apparently they missed the PIR sensor, so that'll come in the version after that.
