Mine did not work that way but good to know.   What ended up being my fix was instead of using "Remove All" on the almond+ was just to use "Remove".  I'm not sure why but that is what tech support walked me thru and it unpaired a previous unsuccessful snyc and then paired successfully with "Add".

Remove all would purge the sensor list on the Almond+ and it's possible that since you had an unsuccessful pairing the first time, that it messed up the sensor list somehow and the remove all cleared that problem. Normally you shouldn't use the remove all option, as it'll just purge the sensors from your Almond+ without resetting them.
