R72 - WebUI not accessible, No Wireless DHCP
« on: April 12, 2015, 04:39:07 am »
Almond+ just applied R072 update.

-DHCP does not hand out IPs over Wifi. DHCP seems to work intermittently with wired connections if nothing is plugged into the WAN port; it seems to take a while for the wired IP to be handed out (the client's network adapter goes in APIA mode, but within a minute or two, the client switches over to DHCP information)
-WebUI is not accessible. Wireless with manual IP, Wired with DHCP or Manual, or over WAN port. Wired connections can ping the router successfully, but no web services seem to respond. Attempts to access the WebUI through the WAN port just report failure to connect.

I'd performed a factory reset when updating from R69 to R72, and these same issues were present. Between then and now the Almond+ has been sitting powered off back in its box.

Can you please get in touch with our support team, as this is not something we've seen or had any reports on so far on R072.

Similar problems here after upgrading to R072 yesterday:
- DHCP is flaky
- 2.4GHz and 5GHz radio intermittent (appears to drop out, then is available, then drops out again)
- No access to WebUI or SSH (which makes debugging the issue a real pain)

Worst case, do a hard reset, that should clear out any issues with some settings that don't work from an older firmware.
Note that this won't affect the HA part of the Almond+.
