New thermostat installed, but showing 'Not Supported'
« on: November 10, 2015, 07:14:30 pm »
Based on the 'Sensors and Devices' list that work with the Almond+, I purchased PEQ 3157100 that is on the list. There is even a review on Amazon of someone that used it with Almond+ (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NY06OR6/?tag=securifi-20). I connected the thermostat today, and paired it with the Almond. The Almond sees it, but I get the message, 'Thermostat Not Supported'. Any suggestions?

@ bobo,

What is the software version you got on the Almond+ (Help-->About) and on all the UI's (LCD, Web UI, App) it is showing as "Thermostat Not Supported", and also send the log files (Help-->Send logs).

Thermostat not supported is seen on the UI and the App.

Current Version: AP2-R064-L009-W015-ZW015-ZB005

Photo of System Log attached.

@ bobo,

That could be the reason, please do update the firmware to R080 through Web UI, reboot the Almond+ and then check. If it is still not working, you may have to remove and add the Thermostat.

That worked, thanks.

I couple notes that might help others:
1. The unit showed that the software was up-to-date, which was not correct.
2. I had to change the password on the unit in order to access the Web UI, before that, once logged in the page would be blank.
3. Once updated, I had to remove the sensor and then add it again.

Now I have full access, thanks for your help.

You are most welcome. We could update the firmware directly from the LCD only after R72, and on few cases, we have to remove and add the sensor for the new files to sync in properly.
