The 0% in OpenWRT doesn't actually mean anything, it's the same on my unit at home and it's working fine.



However, if you can't see the SSID, then there's clearly a serious problem.

@Lars thanks for the PM. As I mentioned, none of my wireless units can connect to the 5GHz channel. On the 2.4GHz I can connect but intermittently the connection slows down to a crawl and then starts disconnecting. I have a couple of access points throughout my house (IP's placed outside the router assigned ranges).

@Lars, since I am now able to access the AC band, I too get low low transfer speeds. Link connection is 900mbit, transfer rates internally are 12MB/sec. I was expecting around 40-50MB/sec to be honest.
