Speed problem after updating the firmware
« on: August 10, 2014, 04:01:14 am »
Hi.  I've been using Almond + White Motorola SB 6141 for more than a year without a problem.  Today I've decided to update the firmware and suddenly, I can't get more than 6MB download.  What's weird about that is I'm still getting 20MB upload.  WIFI gives 40MB down and 20MB up fine.  Just the cable line gives me 6MB down.  I tried on 2 different laptops and my desktop, all 6MB.  What could be causing the problem?  I think because I can get 40MB down OK on my Ipad, I don't think it's the modem.  Is there a setting that I can change or something?  I can't get any jobs done with this speed.  Please help!

Hi,

Can you please try after factory reset and please enable SPI firewall after reset.

Note :

I believe that you are having R199 firmware with Almond.
