« on: August 30, 2014, 02:07:58 pm »
Hello,

I'm planning on buying serveral z-wave switches (slaves) from zwave.me. but will they work with the Almond+?
i will buy one switch for testing. If it works, i'll will buy a lot more of them and i will post the results here.

It's not a product we've tested, so I can't guarantee it'll work.

I can confirm the dimmer switch is working,  :D
had to take the mains off, after reconnecting power, just put the almond in add sensor mode and tripple press one of the switch buttons.
Will check the wall controller soon, when i find some batteries for it.

the wall controller pairs with the almond but is listed as unknown device,
i get a screen to get and set values but I can not get any actual value,...

how can i provide you with info to get this working?

The previously mentioned dimmer can control the connected light but does not update when the dimmer/switch itself is operated. Is this a limitation or a sign that the device is not fully supported?

I honestly have no idea and there seem to be less than zero info on their website about their sensors, so I honestly have no idea.
All the issues are mostly likely because we haven't 1. tested the devices 2. added any kind of support for them and 3. some of them might be using as yet unsupported device classes.

this page, towards the end, at least mentions the supported command classes,...
http://manuals.zwaveeurope.com/make.php?lang=en&type=&sku=ZME_05460

without automation in place yet, a scene controller isn't of much use and its a considerably more complex device then a regular binary/dimmer switch,... but I hope support can be added somewhere in the future.
