Can't load Almond+ in web browser
« on: August 12, 2014, 05:36:36 pm »
If I go to 10.10.10.254 I get:

Code: [Select]
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:211: /etc/config/luci seems to be corrupt, unable to find section 'main'
stack traceback:
[C]: in function 'assert'
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:211: in function 'dispatch'
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:195: in function </usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:194>[\code]

I've tried rebooting the Almond+. It seems I can't really configure anything useful without this working...

Hard reset seems to have fixed it... odd bug straight out of the factory.

It is indeed, it seems to affect a very small percentage of units (less than 1% to be honest) and we're trying to figure out what's going on.

Hmm. I have the same issue, I'll try a hard reset.

I can't even load the web browser to 10.10.10.254   It never comes up and shows an error. Tried going to the IP that my router assigned and that doesn't work either. Ping to 10.10.10.254 doesn't work either

Even tried connect.securifi.com and my system shows up but has no option to click on the Software.

Not sure where to go from here...

Internet shows connected and DHCP or Cable Modem

Under Basic Status it shows the IP as 10.10.10.254  Interne connected and 3 connected devices.

Please advise.

Lars,
I sent a PM as well, but I'll post this here.
I have the "/etc/config/luci seems to be corrupt" error as well. I have not done the hardware reset yet, and am willing to help.

I have a background with linux administration, and I know my way around bash.

I cannot connect to my router using the connected cable, but was able to connect to the router wirelessly, and was able to perform the software update using the 2.4 Ghz  connection

Very strange

Hard reset does not work for me. Wifi connection does not work either. How can I update the firmware if I can't even connect to the router via the Webpage. Can you guys make it available via the https://connect.securifi.com/home? as that works fine for me.

10.10.10.254 is pingable but I also cannot connect to the web ui.
Several attempts at factory resets/hard rest with no success, please advise.

That's very strange, can you please email support@securifi.com so we can look into this?

I was having the problem where the 10.10.10.254/cgi-bin/luci web page would just be blank. I tried it on two different laptops using wireless and wired. Same result - blank page.

I fixed it by changing the password root to another password on the Almond+. When I logged into the web page with the new password, the UI came right up, and I was able to update to R065.

Hope this helps.

That's really interesting and super helpful, as it might give us some kind of an idea as to what's going on.
