Weather Service "Disruption" and Messaging
« on: December 31, 2018, 09:10:31 am »
Just an open message to Securifi on this one... But in the future if a service is going to be unavailable, one people rely on, how about giving more than 1 days notice?! It may not seem like much, but the weather service is useful for things like Rules... Including ones that turn on devices with Sunset or such.

Mine might be minor, but other people might be more impacted. Besides letting people know a little further in advance (maybe 2 weeks for a service disruption?) I would also make sure to post it here in the forum, maybe on the blog, and MAYBE put it as an alert on the devices if someone tries to use the service.

Do you have any time frame on when you might have a new service possible, or at least what companies you might be looking at?

I agree. Obviously vendors close or change services but a bit more notice would've been good.

This is happening again today for my units...  Current weather is showing, but not future forecast.  How about anyone else? Are yours down again too?
