Apple airplay icon cycling?
« on: September 09, 2013, 02:13:48 pm »
I installed my Securifi Almond as a wireless extender. (What a breeze!) I have to macs in our office that connected to the Almond, no problem, and yet their Airplay (wireless) icon still cycles as if it is having problems connecting. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to get it to quit cycling?

I've passed this on to our software team to have a look at, it's an odd one indeed, but judging by your post, it doesn't cause any actual problems with the connection?

Which version of OS X are you using?

:) I moved the Almond nearer to the cycling MacBook, and the cycling went away. Sorry to bother you! Thanks for your quick response.

PS Had a tough time submitting this -- one of the verification questions was "what is 1-1". I tried "0", "zero", "Zero". None worked. I used to teach math, but that was a long time ago. Perhaps things have changed!

That's odd, the answer was set to 0, so not sure what went wrong there.
Changed the question so it doesn't happen again.
Also, those things will go away after three posts.
