Backer from Belgium
« on: August 26, 2014, 02:12:16 pm »
Hello,

I'm Vincent and i live in Belgium, near Leuven. I'm working in the IT. (programming, fixing pc's, automating processes, etc)
I backed the Almond+ on Kickstarter and received my pledge award today. Unpacked and installed it immediately.  Had some trouble connecting my Lifx bulbs but that is fixed now.

I can't wait for the new functions they are currently building.
Great product and i hope it will last long :-)

Greetz,
Vinzz

We actually backed Lifx, but sadly our bulbs went missing so we haven't been able to test them or even try to integrate support for them  :-\
We might get some at a later point if there's enough interest in them.

Expect long term support from us for the Almond+. Keep in mind that the Almond launched about 2.5 years ago now and we're still issuing firmware updates for it to try and improve that product. In fact, the next firmware for the Almond will be R200, show me any other router maker that has release that many firmwares for any one single product.  ;)

True. I'm very happy with the functions it has now. Releasing new firmwares once and a while makes the Almond+ even better!
Respect!  8)
