'login', web ui, doesn't seem to remember login
« on: August 26, 2014, 06:38:12 pm »
In the web ui...
I browse to http://10.10.10.254/cgi-bin/luci, which requests login, and do so.
If I then open another tab, or re-use the same tab, and enter http://10.10.10.254/cgi-bin/luci in the address bar and hit return, it asks again for the login.
Is that behavior necessary?
I would prefer once logged in that revisiting the address will be similar to a browser refresh.
A browser refresh redisplays the same selected tab after confirming form resubmission.
That was in Chrome.

In IE11, a brower refresh confirms form resubmission, but goes back to the login screen instead of refreshing the displayed page/tab.

Once logged in, on any modern  browser, I would expect if I entered (like from a bookmark click, or in the address bar) http://10.10.10.254/cgi-bin/luci#tabs-2 that it would not ask for (re-)login, it would just display the Sensors tab.

Thanks,
-Chris
