Z-wave Leviton VRF01-1LZ
« on: July 21, 2014, 11:05:29 am »
I was able to connect my Leviton VRF01-1LZ switch (for a fan) to the Almond+, however I get unsupported device from the gui.  On the LCD I'm able to do Basic Set & Get, but not from the web interface.

Would be nice if the UIs (both LCD & Web) would provide the various ids (mfg, product, device id) to help debug such cases.

The set/get does at least control the switch and kinda work like at percentage (0 - off, 1..32 - slow, 33-65 - medium, 65-99, fast, for the fan).

Interesting, never had that working for anything unsupported myself  :P

The good news is that we've already ordered one and we'll be adding support for it in the next few weeks.

I have a similar Leviton Zwave switch with the exact same issue.  It works on the almond+ but the web based gui doesn't recognize.  Hopefully you guys will get it sorted out, as my whole house uses these switches.

We're working on making sure that everything that works on the LCD UI and local web UI will also work in the cloud UI and through the mobile apps.
It's just been a bit of a disconnect between the various platforms, but we're working on catching up.

Sorry, I don't think they've had time to look at it yet, we've been fixing some Z-Wave related issues for the Japanese and HK units that we're making and shipping next week. Note that this is unique to those units and doesn't affect anything else.
