Not working. Can get the controller to pair.

Shows as unsupported device on the web and Android app.
Shows as Unknown Device with a Get and Set function on the router interface.

None of the Iris-branded products currently work with the Almond- They have a whitelist in the sensor's software that will not allow it to connect out-of-the box to the almond.
I know Sorphin in the forums here is working on something, but there is currently nothing in place for the almond.

I don't know about a 'whitelist' part.. I do know that i'm controlling my Iris stuff right now with a python script, raspberry pi and XBee Series 2 module.

The garage door opener is Z-Wave though and as far as I'm aware, we're getting one in so we can add support for it.
Can you please got to help, send logs and type in the name of the garage door opener once you've removed and added it again and we'll try and see if we can't add support without getting one first.

That would be great! The Iris garage door controller is definitely a device I want to add.

Sorry I forgot to get notified on this topic and missed all the responses.

This is a Z-Wave device. It does pair. I think it might be the only Iris Z-wave device. The others are proprietary Zigbee.  I boxed it back up, so I will try to get it hooked up again this weekend and send the logs.

@Lars just sent the logs 15 minutes ago ~ 14:00 EDT.

Here's a few screenshots

The controller is made by Linear http://www.linearcorp.com/product_detail.php?productId=1719.

Any chance you can get us a copy of the manual so we can see what all the difference command classes are?

Here's the only scant documentation that came with it http://pdf.lowes.com/installationguides/093863123283_install.pdf

I found info on the Lowe's site that says it uses the "Barrier Command Class". Info page on the Linear site says similar Scene: Command Class.

Here's a contact page for Iris support http://www.lowes.com/cd_Iris+Solutions+Center_1377803835565_

This is actually a controller and a tilt sensor. I believe the tilt sensor communicates directly with the controller and is then reported to the z-wave gateway via the controller.

I'd love to get one of these! It looks like it uses some unconventional (new?) Z-Wave classes.

Here are some references that may or may not be helpful:
