Connectivity issues when in AP mode
« on: September 06, 2014, 01:14:09 pm »
I logged onto the A+ admin site via a hard wire connection.  I reset the device.
I plugged it directly into the Comcast Business Class Modem/router/Gateway (not an desired config at all btw) and ran through the wizard as a router.
Since there is no DHCP on that device it failed but after switching it to Static it worked and said it was fully connected.
I was able to verify the IP address on the status page was correctly showing on the WAN port.  However my laptop hard wired to the LAN port showed a green connected but no ip.

I then moved the A+ behind the ASA 5505 and ran the wizard to move to AP mode.
A+ received the reserved DHCP address but now shows internet disconnected in the status page.  On the Network subpage of status, it's now showing that I have a connection on WAN and LAN4 ports but is again set to no ip.

Any suggestions?
