A+ and Airport Express
« on: September 16, 2014, 03:49:09 pm »
I would like to extend my wifi with the almond+.
Right now i have apple airport express with two ssid, one for the 2,4 and one for the 5ghz.
I would like to know which setting in the a+ would be best for the wifi to enable a good handover. I would like to create two networks in the a+.

any ideas?

Hi Burnz,

It totally depends on you which network you would like to be extended. Technically 2.4 GHz network would have a bit more range compare to 5 GHz, however, speed would be more on 5 GHz.

It doesn't matter which network we are connecting the Almond+ by default it provides you both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network all the time. Hope the information helps you!
