Static Leases not showing up in Web UI
« on: September 19, 2014, 06:50:19 pm »
A minor issue: I just upgraded from R065 to R066, and now my static leases aren't showing up in the Almond web UI. The leases are still listed in the OpenWRT interface, and they are still being assigned, but they're not listed in the initial UI. I tried rebooting the router, but that didn't fix it.

As a side note, what's the best way to refer to the two web interfaces? Is the Securifi-branded interface called NutsOS? Or does NutsOS also encompass OpenWRT?

NutsOS would be our interface + some underlying components that aren't part of OpenWRT.

This is weird and I'll check it and report it to the software team.

In addition to leases not showing up in Nuts OS side, it would be nice to be able to export configuration file for these leases, and allow for re-import in case something goes sideways on a firmware update, as getting 30-100 leases back in is a huge pain...Perhaps a little fine tuning in how you capture leases would help too. Other routers allow for a connected MAC to be saved as a lease, allowing the user to just click and update IP, or lease name and save, without having to enter the whole line of information.

Hi,  I already had the issue with R065. Sometimes the static leases showed up, some times not. I think it was depending on the browser I used.

Yeah, we'll make sure the leases are part of the settings backup.
