Using Powerline Adapters
« on: October 02, 2014, 06:40:08 am »
I know this is not as issue but, as I lost several hours and lots of nerves with this, no harm to remind people.

As I have a poor connection between the main router at router and my study I bougth a Powerline Adapter. It happens that, despite having a 30 Mbps connection I could not get more than 1 Mbps. Odd.

It worked well with my old Belkin but with Almond+ no. I was getting mad until I got an epipahny. The Powerline Adapter was just right besides the Almond+ transformer.

The only thing I had to do was to take them apart. I know that a Powerline Adapter should not be mixed, it says in every manual but ........

Hope this helps others not getting desperate without not knowing what is happening and blaming Almond+.
