DynDNS does not work with SSL, https
« on: October 02, 2014, 08:08:02 am »
Tried to configure DynDNS but it fails since my DNS updater uses SSL (https).

According to the documentation over at http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/ddns.client I'm supposed to modify the configuration to enable ssl, however the configuration does not seem to support those options.
I suspect it is due to Almond+ using an older script that does not support curl, also curl does not seem to be installed.

So although my DNS provider can use http, I won't since I do not want to transmit my username and password to DNS in clear text.
