Almond+ iOS app bug
« on: October 05, 2014, 12:21:29 pm »
I am trying to figure out if this is a bug or an incompatibility with the sensor I added to my network.

I am running ios 8.0.2 on an iPhone 6+.  I have the R066 firmware installed on the Almond+.  I added an Everspring SM103 door/window sensor.

The sensor appears in the Almond+ and added to the list just fine.  The range also seems good - I have the sensor on the 3rd floor of my house and the Almond+ is in my basement, so it has quite a bit to go but it seems to be detecting just fine.

The issue is this - the IOS app will not provide sensor status info.  I am able to log into the router and see the status open/close just fine.  But the app never updates.  Is this a bug?

It might just be a general app issue as the iOS app is a bit behind in terms of functionality. We have a new version coming (pending approval by Apple) that'll hopefully fix this.

OK thank you.  I assume that some sort of home automation capability (rules, chaining, alerting, etc) will be coming at some point in the future?
