Not sure, it's not something we have and the fact that it's dual relay might cause some issues for our UI as we'd have to create a specific UI for it.
I've added it to the list of sensors to order though, but don't expect it to be supported in the next couple of months at least.

 :o I guess I can wait 2 months! Thanks!

Question: Should A+ recognize at least one of the switches or does each device/mfr needs to have support added in?

I definitely have misunderstood how zwave (and zigbee) work ;D, I had expected most zwave on/off type devices to attach without issues barring exceptions such as this Enerwave ZWN-RSM2 and Aeon multi sensors etc. which I do presume require additional integration. Am I totally wrong with my presumption? Is there a blog/article you can point me to that will provide more insight?

Update: You have kind of answered my question in this post, so thanks for taking the time to answer all our questions, we definitely appreciate it and I realize this can take a good bit of your time!  http://forum.securifi.com/index.php/topic,2042.0.html

For sensors where we already have a UI of some kind, it shouldn't be all that hard to add support for them, although technically they should already be working if they're Z-Wave.

For sensors where we don't have a UI, a lot of work is required from our side and in as much as we're planning on supporting many more types of devices, it's going to take time, especially as we have no less than five different UI's that we need to support for each type of device.

The Z-Wave Alliance might be making claims along the lines that Z-Wave branded products are just supposed to work, but it couldn't be further from the truth. Have a look at anyone else who just launched a home automation gateway and tell me how many devices they support. Take Wink as an example, they have an extremely limited list of support devices of all of five device types. Revolv wasn't much better, although they seem to be adding more and more things, just as we are. Even SmartThings doesn't support everything out there. The only company that has extensive device support is Vera, but they have a half a decade on everyone when it comes to how long they've been doing this.

I really don't know if this specific sensor will work or not. We support standard binary switches so one of the relays might show up, but most likely not both.
Basic Z-Wave devices tend to work quite well with the Almond+, i.e. single function devices. We haven't added support for multi-functional devices as yet, as it's a lot more complex on our side, but it'll come.
In this case, it's a multi-functional device, as it has two switches, so the UI would need to understand that and accommodate it, which it currently wouldn't do.
It's not about adding manufacturer specific support, it's about adding device class/type support, as there are a lot of different types of devices out there, the Z-Wave alliance claims over 1,000 certified devices and many of them are non standard devices that most gateway/controller manufacturers wouldn't be supporting.

I have it here and it works and pair up fairly easy, but it only shows as one binary switch, I only hooked up the one side not sure if it'll show two if i hook up the other side

I finally have mine connected to 2 switches. It did pair up almost immediately after hitting the "pair" button on the RSM2. However the Almond+ see's only switch #1 and switches on/off only #1.

The on/off operation is instantaneous but if I turn on using the wall switch the web UI doesn't see that it was turned on (checked after a webUI refresh). With the wall switch on, I hit power ON expecting it to turn off but it stayed on So I guess that works! That said we'll just have to wait till all of the functions of the RSM are supported.

Lars: Is there not a timer functionality built into each on/off switch? or is this a something we can look forward to in the future. I'm hoping you'll support a calendar appt like behavior where-n we can setup a single on/of timed operation of multiple/repeating operation.

If it helps: The RSM2 is quite compact and fit easily behind the wall switches even with the disarray of inflexible 14g copper wire occupying the space behind.

Yes, time/day of week options will be part of the automation and it seems to be one of the most requested features that people want for the automation, so I expect this to be one of the first things that'll be done.

Any possibility of gaining support for this device. the 2nd binary switch doesnt get regcognized or has this changed?

I just got a ZWN-RSM2 and a ZWN-RSM1S. I have neat plans for these relays since they can be used to activate many things. I hope you guys are going to fully support these cool devices. Thanks.

Is there anything I can send to help the team with this dual relay device? Log files?
