I have 2 problems I've noted after spending ~3 hours trying to set up my Almond+ today.

1.  When setting the device to AP mode, if I turn off the 2.4 ghz antenna the Almond+ loses connectivity.
The LCD UI shows no internet connection, no IP assigned, and I can no longer access the Web UI.  Reloading AP mode doesn't fix it.  This can be resolved by resetting the router, but then the 2.4 ghz antenna is back on.  It makes no difference if the 2.4 ghz antenna is turned off via the LCD UI or web interface.  It ends in the same result.  In my case, the device is behind a Verizon Fios ActionTec router.  My previous Asus N56u works fine under the same configuration - 2.4ghz antenna off behind the ActionTec router.

2.  AP mode works (sort of) with both antennas on but the 5ghz AC band is slooooow.
I see 22mbps on speedtest.net with a pci-express Intel 7260 Wireless AC card ~20ft away.  This same card easily seees 58+ mbps just swapping the router back to my N56u.  That matches my internet connection speed.  Connection strength shows excellent for the 5ghz SSID and the 22mbps is consistent.  It's like it hits a slow wall.

I got this as a wireless AC router but I'm surprised to see such poor performance with a good wireless card in close proximity.

We're aware of the AP mode issues and there's a long thread about it. We'll be having a fix for this in the next firmware release.
