Securifi repeater causing issues with wifi printer?
« on: October 17, 2014, 08:10:51 pm »
I recently installed my Securifi as a repeater to my Arris router from Time Warner.  It was working great until i turned on my Canon wifi printer today.  I had all kinds of problems! ! To the point where other devices started dropping,  including the Securifi repeater.  I had to do a reset on the repeater and my router in order to get things working again.  Would the Securifi and the printer be fighting over IP addresses? No other wifi devices were having a problem prior to this.

Well, to begin with there would be no fight for IP between devices as Almond in Range Extender mode, has DHCP disabled, i.e. it provides the same IP and subnet as of the primary router!
