Securifi Keyfob on Web Interface
« on: February 11, 2015, 01:59:04 pm »
Not sure if this is a bug with R070, a new feature request, or my being forgetful. Hopefully someone can correct me (search function could not).

I tried to select the Keyfob on the sensors list expecting to be able to select whether it is armed, disarmed, or other. But nothing appears and nothing happens. Should it have? Obviously I thought it should have, it just seemed natural to me to do so.

No, you can't select anything there. We got a UI coming for the key fob, but it'll only be done once we've finished the rules, as it'll use a subset of the rules specific for key fobs.

No bug, feature, future enhancement. Awesome, thanks.

You can use it as a "remote" or trigger in the rules UI though by programming features to the various buttons. The way it's set up right now though, only three out of the four buttons are working, please don't ask me why, as I don't know.

I actually do not use the physical Keyfob. But I was thinking of it as a virtual switch/trigger until such a time as the Rules and system allow for virtual triggers/switches natively.

Ah, right, that hasn't been developed yet, but it's something we've talked about. Let me bring this up again.
