My cable router sometimes reboots.  After this happens and it comes back online, the Almond+ acts normally with full LAN and WiFi access to the internet.  However, at that point, I can no longer make L2TP/IPSec VPN connections.  Once I reboot the Almond+, I can make VPN connections again.

I have turned off the ALG VPN stuff and turned off the router's VPN.  I've tried all of the suggestions mentioned before on this forum.

This is a problem with two completely different VPN vendors which both happen to be L2TP/IPSec.  One VPN vendor is FortiGate.  The other is the VPN that comes with Microsoft Server 2008 R2.

I am using a computer that's connected to the Almond+ LAN port.

I've reported this as a bug to the software team.
