Feedback & Support Requests
« on: September 08, 2014, 04:57:15 pm »
I have had the unit up and running in AP mode for about 5 days and everything seems to be working well. I had noticed that the touchscreen interface had some lag but that has disappeared. The build quality seems very solid, WiFi signal range is good.

Z-Wave device interface on the router is very limited. It’s all numerical value for percentage and there are different values for different devices.
-   No Slider Function
-   No On/Off
-   No Scene control
-   No Automation schedule

Current Z-Wave devices added.
Leviton VP00R-1LX (Need On/OFF, dimmer option is only controlled by adjusting the numerical value.)
Leviton VRI06-1LX (Need On/OFF, dimmer option is only controlled by adjusting the numerical value.)
Leviton VRPA1 (Need On/Off)
HomePro ZIR000 (Motion Sensor)
Intermatic HA02 (Need On/OFF, dimmer option is only controlled by adjusting the numerical value.)

These devices show up as incompatible in the website and IOS application. There are no options available for control.

Device failed to be added but I would like to get working as it's installed in my kitchen.
Leviton VRCS4-1LZ

Question about orientation and heat dissipation. My plan was to mount the router to my ceiling but I’m questioning that because the amount of heat it generates. Is this a viable option or would adding a small USB powered fan to it work?

I also want the option to turn off the 2.4 zigbee wireless module. I don’t have any zigbee devices and would like eliminate any unnecessary running modules.
I was also not able to email support@securifi.com, there was a kick back stating the google wasn't accepting the sender's certificate. I have received emails and updates from that email address.

Thanks,
Brad

It's not a Z-Wave issue in and of itself, it's the sensors you have that aren't supported yet.
We've got a bunch of Leviton sensors arriving in our Indian office this week, so those will get sorted out.
Not sure why the other two don't work though, the HA02 seems different from other dimmers we support and the motion sensor should work, as again other Z-Wave motion sensors work just fine.

The Almond+ was designed to be mounted vertically, not horizontally.

We're going to add an option to disable both Z-Wave and ZigBee, as apparently some people would like these options.

Not sure about the support email, seems like a Google issue as we're using them for all our email.

Thanks for responding Lars.

I have attached 3 pictures that didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. They are showing the interface that I am seeing and tried to describe, the one picture is of the IOS application that doesn't allow any control.

I look forward to the updates and I am willing to assist if you need any help.
Thanks,
Brad

I'm well aware of the issue, but until we've added support for the devices you have, this isn't going to change.
Once the devices are supported in the LCD UI, it's fairly trivial to support them in the apps.
It's not going to happen in the next firmware release, but hopefully for the one after that.

I bought one of the Smart AC switches with my Almond Plus and was working just fine until recently. The IOS application shows the status as unavailable however the Almond Plus Web and LCD interfaces operate it just fine. I just updated the firmware to 069 and my ios app is the most current. I also removed the device and reconnected but no luck. Any Suggestions?

It's an iOS app bug, we've already sent a new version to Apple for approval and it'll hopefully be out before the end of the week.
