Multiple networks
« on: November 16, 2014, 11:54:37 am »
In the OPENWRT section it shows the ability to add a network.
I changed the IP of LAN (Eth1, and both WIFI (bridged) to 10.10.10.1 (instead of .254)
In OPENWRT I added anther network to ETH2 with 10.0.10.1 (named hbi_lan) with DHCP and mapped it to only the ETH2.
A server attached to a switch on ETH2 port (The second port going away from the WAN port on the back of the A+), with an IP of 10.0.10.7, cant seem to ping 10.0.10.1, even when the server is directly plugged into the ETH2 port.

A separate issue is the routing between the 2 networks...
lan 10.0.10.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.10.1
hbi_lan 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 10.0.10.1

Is this routing correct usage on this router?

Is this not a capability?
