A call for iOS app beta testers
« on: November 29, 2014, 10:40:07 pm »
After the malarky we had with the previous release of the iOS app, we've decided to take advantage of Apple's recently introduced beta program for iOS apps.
We'd like to get an active group of beta testers put together that are willing to test beta versions of app to make sure that we don't have any major bugs in it.
This means that there will be some expectations from your side to report any issues and we'd preferably have those of you that own at least a couple of sensors involved, be it ZigBee, Z-Wave or Hue lights.
You'll have direct access to our developers and as such you'll have a certain degree of influence on how the iOS app is being developed going forward.
If you're interested in joining the beta program, please reply to this thread. Invites will be limited, but we're looking for a fairly sizeable group.

Count me in. I have 2 of the motion sensors and the keyfob. I also have Hue lights, but I haven't paired them with my Almond+ yet.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I have an iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and iPhone 6 I can test from if needed.

I'd be interested but the only iOS device I have is my iPad as long as that is no problem. I have many z wave devices including switches, outlets, thermostat and a smoke/co alarm and several zigbee lights. I am currently using the almond+ in range extender mode.

Yes, please. I can test from a few devices (5s, 5, iPad) if that is helpful. Currently, I am only using some GE link lights, but I am planning on adding at least a thermostat and deadbolt shortly also. Thanks.

Would like to join, too.

At the moment I am using a couple Fibaro wall plugs. There are plans of adding a smoke sensor and thermostats in the next 2-3 months.

Possible devices for testing:
- iPhone 4/5s/6
- iPad 3/4/Air

Interested.   I have some binary switches, light switches (with and with out dimmers), outlets with power monitor, motion detection and key fobs (though they aren't associated yet since I have no use until automation is working).

Hello Lars,

I am willing to beta test the iOS apps.

I will be able to test a very large variety of Z-wave devices (currently own over 50), and am willing to test other devices as well.

Thanks.

-Robert
