Hello,

I searched the forum for this topic but couldn't find what I needed so Ill ask here.

I upgraded firmware recently to fix the DNS Open Resolver issue with success. However, now I cant stay connected for more than a few hours without having to power cycle the computer / modem. The Windows 8 automated troubleshooter doesnt solve the problem either it just recommends unplugging the modem etc.

Typically I have no problems resolving these types of things on my own but cant seem to crack this one. Fairly certian the two (connection issues & upgraded firmware) are connected because up until the install of your software Ive never had a problem.

Any suggestions / input would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to buy a new router.

Thanks!

- Hale R.

R199c is my current version. Downloaded from above sticky thread. I'll give the R199y a go. Update to follow. Thanks.

No update available via LCD. Responds software up to date.

Is there a download available so I can manually install R199y?
