This week I won't be on top of things in the forums as I'll be at CES, so please excuse any delays in getting back to you with answers to your questions.

That does it... Without Lars around as much how will things ever go smoothly?
Seriously though, have as good a time as work allows at CES.

Something you guys might want to check, WattUp technology from Energous. A wireless charging technology with long range (30ft) and high(er) power. Could always be something to help distinguish a 2017 model or as an accessory unit / sensor related feature (no batteries needed maybe).

Yeah, read about that, but I doubt we'll be able to meet with them as they have a private suite in one of the hotels, so it might not be so easy for us to get in, as these tend to be by appointment only.

@Lars, Did you happen to see Keen Home Smart Vents? http://www.cnet.com/products/keen-home-smart-vent/

Its a reasonably priced Zigbee damper for central convection HVAC systems popular in the US.

They don't make a hub/gateway so they need to partner with companies with devices like the Almond+.

Also, are you going to give us a CES report on the interesting products you saw?
