Touchscreen recalibration
« on: December 16, 2014, 05:12:07 pm »
Hello team,

I've been searching for hours on a this problem. Hope anyone have seen this and have any idea how to solve:

Problem: The touch screen somehow is shifted about 3/4 inch below the pressure point. Example, If I reset the router and it asks for the language, I place the stylus all the way up in the very edge of the screen, and it selects the chinese language.
This happens only on the upper middle of the screen. When I select any option in example and need to click next on the lower right corner, that is correctly activated.

Steps taken:
several factory reset
Reloaded the firmware via website

I have not seen any option to recalibrate the screen, I have also telent the router and I can't find any linux command to recalibrate under the sbin or bin folders.

Things to have in mind:
The router has been working great for the last 10 months.
I disconnected it from the living room and moved over another room as extender. (here is when the problem started to happen)

Any ideas will be welcome.

Could be a resistive touchscreen issue (hardware). Contact support (support@securifi.com) for possible under warranty replacement.
