Z-wave device associated with both Almond+ and Homeseer Z-Troller?

For those of you who are experimenting with the Almond+ and also have Homeseer with a Z-troller, does it cause any issues if the device ("sensor") is associated with both? I want to use at least initially the Almond+ as a backup for control of my Homeseer Z-wave devices.  UPDATE: After posting this, I think I know the answer: a Z-wave device cannot be associated with 2 different Z-wave controllers. Correct?

[Automate]

zwave devices can only be associated with one Zigbee "network".  The network can only have a single primary controller but can have one or more secondary controllers. The Almond+ currently can not work with or as a secondary controller.
