Almond+ as an universal remote

Hello,

I would like to know what Securifi think about remote control TV and soud systeme (or any other device) by infrared. I think it will be possible to buy infrared transceiver to connect to the Almond+ right ?

It would be greate to have my multimedia systeme totaly include in tasks, senarios.

Remotec has a solution that will be able to do it, but it's going to take some serious work on our side to get that integrated and supported, as well as creating usable and somewhat universal UI's for it.
In as much as I can easily get samples from them, it's not going to happen for now due to the amount of resources it would eat up and we have a lot more pressing things to get done and out there.

Are you talking about this product cause it's look like it is onely for air conditioner ?

I wonder if that would work to control those cheap IR led bulbs that are controlled by little IR remotes...
