HTTP commands for Controlling Z-Wave Switch
« on: March 04, 2015, 07:18:27 pm »
Hello! I am a new user here, so I hope this post is in the right place! I have a very simple setup with a GE "SmartSwitch" Z-Wave switch that is working well so far with my Almond+ router. However, I would like to control the switch from within a different app that I use to control the rest of my devices.
Does anyone know what port to use to setup the Almond+ as an HTTP gateway (it was working fine with port 80 but I updated the software to the most current version and now it does not seem to work) and what the HTTP commands (I believe they are GET commands?) for ON and OFF are? The switch is device/node #2 on my network. That is all I need, hoping someone can help!

Thanks!

There is a thread here some where that had several members doing the same thing, however after a recent update it required a security layer that I believe only lasted a short time. Try searching using the bar at the top to find the thread, I cannot remember what sub it was in.
