Leviton Binary Switches Supported in R070as
« on: March 03, 2015, 04:14:20 pm »
Just got home and gave R70as a whirl.  The only things I had not working were my Leviton binary switches.  I am happy to report that they are now working!  That said, I had to do some extra steps to get it working:

   1.  Select Add device from A+ UI
   2.  Put the switch in pairing mode
   3. A+ detects as binary switch
   4. Complete adding it

Now, the additional steps

    5.  Go back to switch; notice it is still in pairing mode
    6.  Toggle the switch;  the LED turns from red to green
    7.  Go back to A+ UI and toggle the switch with the touch screen
    8.  Everything (phone/web interface) now works.

Good luck!

Ditto, as well as the leviton plug in appliance switch now works as well in the new 70as update.  ;D

I'm looking forward to trying this out when I return home on Sunday.  Excellent news!

Is it also reporting properly when manually turned on or off?

It seems a bit slower (@2 seconds) but yes.

Your question caused me to do an inventory and interestingly enough I found that my Linear WD500Z-1 dimmer switch does report when I manually toggle it.  I can control it from the app and it updates.  Strange ....
