Schedule rules to enable/disable internet access
« on: March 10, 2015, 12:34:00 pm »
I would like to suggest a feature to schedule internet access rule by IP (hostname). For example, create a rule to grant internet access to my daughters iPod, computer, etc.. between the hours of 6AM and 11PM Monday thru Friday. This would be very similar to the rules used in the home automation area.

I think there has been mention of parental controls. Although this could work beyond that. Small business could offer free WiFi but only during business hours. It could still leave networking running for their own people and equipment / monitoring.

We're looking at implementing a possible third party solution for parental control, but it's too early to share any details about this at the moment.
The rules idea is not a bad idea though.
