2.4 Ghz slows and 5 Ghz does not work at all
« on: March 10, 2015, 08:21:50 pm »
I have had this problem through several firmware updates. I am currently running RO70AS. The problem is the 2.4 GHz radio slows to a crawl every 24 hours or so and if i reboot the router it is fine for another 24 hours. The 5 GHz radio does not seem to work at all, sometimes it will show up for a brief second then disappears. the 2.4 Ghz radio problem occurs on all devices (several laptops, 2 iphone 5s, ipad mini, and ipad retina) The 5 Ghz does not appear for longer than a second or 2 on the ios devices (they are the only devices i have that are capable of 5 GHz). I have tried changing channels and modes but nothing seems to work. I do have a netgear router that has the 5 GHz radio and it works fine so I know that it is not a problem with interference.

Have you contacted the support team? It seems like something is wrong with your Almond+ as this is clearly not normal behaviour.
