Integrating SmartThings Hub
« on: September 24, 2015, 01:16:11 am »
I've given up on A+ for H.A., and bought a SmartThings Hub. Anyone tried integrating one without un-connecting all sensors from A+? Figured I'd ask before resetting all of them. Thanks much

You will have to re-run the inclusion process on all the devices.

You should remove the sensors from the Almond+ but technically it is not necessary if you have reset the remote devices themselves. As an example, for many lightbulbs it is a simple matter of turning the light on and off several times within a given time interval, e.g. on for 5 secs, off for 5 secs, repeat 4x within 120 seconds.

Once a device is "reset" it could care less about the Almond+.

Given that you are asking about adding devices to a Smart Things Hub, it might be appropriate to ask the questions over on ST support forums.

I went room by room unenrolling all devices in that room from A+ via the touchscreen.  While doing that I had ST searching for devices. so as they were freed from A+ the ST picked them up.
