CT101 joins but has issues
« on: March 28, 2015, 05:38:26 pm »
I thought i would give the Lowes CT101 again and found that it joins easily and can be controlled, but it loses programming that I put in and it the programming function completely disappears.  There are 3 choices at join. thermostat, setpoint thermostat, other. I tried all three with the same resultant behavior. Any chance i am missing something?

I think I read in the CT101 guide that when you pair it you lose the programming control, but when you unpair it you get that control back. It's basically taken over by your z-wave controller, so that controller needs the smarts to handle scheduling/programming. Unfortunately, the almond+ doesn't yet have those smarts.
