As per subject line. I bought a Fibaro FGS221 to test with my new Almond+. Succeeded to connect, showed up as binary switch, however it didn't work at all.

If nothing happens it's usually because the device is 1. Using a different Z-Wave frequency or 2. It's already been associated with another gateway and needs to be reset. That said, we haven't tested this specific sensor, so I can't say if it'll work or not.

Had in mind to buy exactly this model.

It is using standard Z-Wave EU frequency:

Z-Wave Steuerung auf EU Frequenz 868  MHz

Sorry for wall-of-text.
The device consists of two slave-devices or maybe more, at least two anyway, that control the two outputs on the relay. It would be nice if it could be supported since this is a very nifty device.
The rest of the log is attached and the log for when I try to use the Almond+ interface to toggle the switch.
So in conclusion, some problems adding the device, due to me using the wrong kind of lightswitches ( the non-spring loaded type). Recognized correctly as binary switch, however no functionality.  :-[

<bump>
Just bumping to find out if you were able to use this switch... I also have one (v1.4 -v.17) and in R069 firmware I was unable to use it, though it's found as Binary Switch.
errors:
Android app:
no info after "updating sensor data"
Webconsole :
"Could not connect, please try again"
Almond+:
pressing button on or off does not show any feedback.

I still can use the wall switch (through the Fibaro relay switch)

Hope someone has better luck!

I'll see if we can get some, but it'll be some time, as in early next year at best.

Thanks.

This is not the first time a developer team has such issues...

Fibaro's stuff is all quite complex to support as they're doing their own little thing and have stretched the Z-Wave standard about as much as is possible and then some.
It looks like this product is being pulled from certain markets though, so I'm not sure if we'll be supporting it. I'll try to find some alternatives if that's the case.

With R070 the double switch is recognized as a Binary switch, and the On and Off buttons are now working. The second switch is still not recognized.
Is there any good alternative for this 2x 1.5 kw switch?

Fibaro FGS221-Relay-Switch-2x1.5kW partially recognized by Almod+ in R070

This switch is recognized as a single Binary Switch as in previous firmwares, but now the On and Off buttons work.

We still haven't added support for "multi" type devices being PIR sensors with temperature sensors in them, but this is coming.
I did try a similar device and it switched on and off both relays, so I'm surprised that Fibaro works differently.
I'll make sure we get a sample so we can get this working properly.

Also, I merged your other post, as it didn't need a new thread.

I noticed updates on this are slow. Home automation is the main reason I backed this on Kickstarter, and the list of devices is still very limited, specially concerning multi-function/multi-control devices as this Fibaro switch.
I'm not sure you really need each device, have you had a look at http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb, it has device information, with supported command classes, parameters and more for over 350 devices. Their info is available under creative common license (see their site for more). Based on this a basic profile could be implemented and user-tested...
I hope more progress on device support is coming soon!
