ARE WE THERE YET?
« on: April 22, 2015, 06:31:20 pm »
When will we ever see the ability for adding Scenes???
Functionality and communication with the Nest branded products?
When will we be able to actually start receiving alerts when I am away and a window or door sensor is triggered which also triggers the Siren? All of this stuff is great, if only it would actually function in a way that it was intended.
I understand this is a new product but maybe provide a Technology Feature Roadmap that would provide everyone with Securifi's current development goals for upcoming features and releases. This forum is ok but at the very least start communicating the company's vision and goals. Otherwise, there is very little reason for anyone to want to buy these products especially when they have no guarantee that once they do it will every be supported in the way that is was designed to be used.

Even without an associated schedule, a prioritized work list including both bugs and new features would sure be nice. There have been several issues I haven't brought up, because I assumed they were obvious and still being worked on, when in fact they weren't apparently even known to the devs as issues until someone else posted here. I'm actually not that concerned about exactly when something will be implemented or fixed, just that it is in the queue. And priority could just mean the order of what is being looked at, not necessarily the order of what reaches final implementation. Of course, the priority order can always change, and an issue in the list, once investigated, might not even turn out to be an actual bug..

I really enjoy the sense of community here and appreciate how everyone is patiently working together because they believe in what this product can be. I want to keep experimenting, upgrading, and testing, but without at least a dim light at the end of the tunnel, at some point I'll need to decide if I should to start looking for a different tunnel...
