R76 does not completely support Multi Level On/Off Devices.

The issue is obvious with products like the CREE Connected bulbs or the GE Link A19 bulbs.

The Web interface, Android App and IOS App all have issues.

Problems such as;

Incorrect reporting of On/Off State
Incorrect reporting of Dimmer Level
Inability to use Dimmer Level Slider (web interface)
Dimmer Level reported as NaN%
Inability to turn Lights On - work around is to adjust Dimmer Level to 99%
Rules/Scripts not working to Turn Lights On - workaround is to adjust Dimmer Levels

These issues have been reported in multiple threads.

Has Securifi acknowledged the problems?
Is Securifi working the fixes as a priority?

Lights not working properly is a fundamental part of Home Automation.

How did testing of MultiLevel Lights not get caught is Quality Assurance Testing of R76? Does the Dev Team have any Multi Level Lights in their office??

Are all Multi Level On/Off Devices impacted?
What other Multi Level On/Off Devices are in use by the community?

Is there a Beta of R?? that addresses these concerns?

There is just no way I can purchase and install any Almond Plus units for friends and family, let alone customers, when Lights do not work or even appear correctly on the UI or Apps.

Any Updates are appreciated.

Ashok just said here http://forum.securifi.com/index.php/topic,3370.0.html   that they were hoping to release it by the end of this week but it "may" not happen. I'll take that as a probably won't happen.

But he did say that the multilevel issue had been "fixed".

If they release an update with a fix this week, I'm good with it. If the fix takes a month, that's too much for such basic functionality as a light working.

@ SecureComp,

I could assure you that to my best knowledge, it would be soon and it won't be taking month per sure. Personally too I want the firmware to be released asap to fix the multi level switch issues. But I don't have any ETA, however, I would update the post as soon I get any positive update. Thank you for understanding.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm sure there are several bug fixes in the R79 update and you need to test them all. I'm good (and I'm sure many are) with waiting a bit longer to get a more reliable release.

Hoping for Scenes and Sensor Groups soon.

I hope you all are culling these threads for the multiple new issues with 076. Multi sensor no unsupported, improper reporting for flooding sensors through iOS 1.5, to name two more.

Sure enough. The forum is open so you get lots of duplication, poor issue descriptions, lack of detail etc.

Short of implementing a boilerplate problem reporting system, this is how it goes.

But yes, the issues with R76, IOS v1.5.x and Android App ver 4.2 are pretty well known at this point.  The beta R79 has been worked as well.  All of this is your basic development cycle stuff.
