DDNS
« on: June 04, 2015, 05:10:02 am »
I can't get DDNS on my foscam F19804w working with my Almond Plus.  I can't find the proper forwarding/DDNS settings anywhere.  Thanks.

@ freealilty,

It would be helpful, if you could confirm whether you are using Almond 2015 or Almond plus, so that accordingly we could suggest properly on DDNS.

@ freeality,

Thank you for the clarification. You can login to the Almond 2015 Web interface and click on Management--> Dynamic DNS --> Select from Dynamic DNS Provider.

Note: Only the once which are listed under the Dynamic DNS Provider would work.

I'm trying to use freedns.afraid.org DDNS.  It does not seem to be updating.  Are there any logs or indication of the success or failure and error for the DDNS update?

@ Automate,

To our best knowledge, we don't have any known issues with DDNS. Just to verify, is it possible for you to use any other services like no-ip.com and let us know the status because we just tested it at our end and it is working fine.

And also see, if you have to update the WAN IP on freedns.afraid.org.
