Monoprice Z-Wave In-Wall On/Off Dual Relay Module
« on: May 10, 2015, 04:45:06 pm »
I recently purchased this relay module.

It looks like none of the dual relay modules are supported yet. Mine is detected and it pairs, however, it is detected as a single binary switch and that works perfectly well, but I am just using half of it's functionality.

I searched it and it looks like dual relay switches are not supported as of now.

Do you know if you will be adding support for dual relay switches ? If not, is there a way I can manually get the other switch to recognize ?

@ d.kiran,

I may have to verify that with our team to get back to you with a confirmation. I would also request you to send the log files by mentioning the name as Dual Relay Module.

@ d.kiran,

Thank you for sending the log files. I just got the confirmation that our team is adding support team to Fibaro fgs222 double relay switch which uses the similar parameters and they are positive the Mono price Z-wave In-wall dual relay model may also work.

@Ashok. Is this implemented in R076 or do I have to wait for a different firmware ?

Also, I have kwikset, CT 100 mentioned in the fixes for the firmware. Will they work automatically or do I have to remove the sensors and add them again ?

@ d.kiran,

No, it would be implemented with our next release. We have to remove and add them again to ensure that the changes are taking place properly.

Will this be supported in R079? I need to buy a few more and want to make sure that they work properly before buying them again.

@ d.kiran,

I got the confirmation that we are adding the support for Fibaro FGS222 Double Relay Module and most probably, Monoprice Z-wave In-Wall On/Off Dual Relay Module may work.

@ d.kiran,

You might have missed the update, R80 is already released. However,  if everything goes as per plan then support for Relay Module would be in next release.
