Rules Question
« on: July 09, 2015, 03:18:23 pm »
If I have a rule set for my thermostat, such as at a certain time set the temp at 78 and then later set at 80, then I add another rule that says if the mode is "Away", then set the temp to 84, will it override the other rule when I set the mode to "Away"?

I think all the rules would still run, now if the thermostat would change to another temp while in away probably depends upon the brand. I think you would need the first two rules to have home in them. Example: If - At home At 0800 then set Temp to 78. Then it should only run the 78 one while the thermostat is set to home and not run when away.
