Almond IOS app 1.6 is out
« on: July 31, 2015, 09:57:16 am »
Its running stable for me so far. This release fixes the reversed status for some Z-Wave sensors. My ZCOMBO smoke detector and Everspring flood sensor now show the correct status on the app. My house is no longer simultaneously on fire and flooded. The device logs are a nice addition.

It's nice to have the app reflect state of sensors correctly. There was a host of other goals posted with regard to the app, and I wonder if you have a roadmap toward them?

1) Rearranging sensors, at least in terms of order, perhaps groups.
2) Rules access from app

There were others, but that's what springs to mind

I think the rules are coming. If you look on connect.securifi.com page it has a rules tab now that states there are working on it there. I think once it's done we will see it being worked into the apps.

For me the rules can be the last thing added to the app especially if you can set them through the connect page. There are not something I change to often that app access to them is essential, but it would be nice. The rearranging the sensors for me is a lot more important. I hate having to scroll to the bottom to turn on one of my most used lights.

I know they're coming.... I would have thought that as long as we waited for an update that did more than just fix what the last update broke, those improvements would have been included. So we wait some more.... In the meantime I guess bona fide HA hubs pricing is coming down.
