WiFi speed
« on: September 05, 2015, 09:20:01 pm »
Hello,

Using R080 firmware, tested LAN <-> WAN got 930M speed, but WiFi speed is poor
Testing device: Surface Pro 3 + iPad Air 2
Both just got about 250M Wifi <-> WAN speed (5GHz 802.11ac), is it limit on current firmware driver? Any method to increase the speed?

@ rickywk,

Try to set the Wireless channel to 149 and also bandwidth to 80 and then check the speed.

On the other hand, would it be possible to check the wireless speeds on any other wireless devices because Microsoft surface pro 3 may have got some wireless issues with latest update.

@ashok

Tried your suggested config and re-test it with iPad air 2, still around 300M only. Not tested with my surface pro 3
