is it possible to configure more than one for home automation on the same account. in access pt mode.

If so any plans to add a secure pin code app, and rules to set away/home either from the secure pin or when entering unlock screen code..

 If I am reading your question right you have the same idea I had. Rather than buying/mounting a couple of cheap $100 tablets by your doors, just mount extra Almonds by the doors to use as access points for HA.


I asked this same question MONTHS ago. If you had 2 Almond+ or an Almond+ and an Almond 2015 on the same account if they could both control the devices on the same cloud account and NEVER got a reply other than 2015 is not a zigbee repeater which was not what I asked. So I would love to see if you actually get an answer.

You can already assign a PIN code to the touchscreen , so that is covered, just waiting to see if you can have more than one hub on the same account controlling the same devices. The lack of an answer tells me that the answer is probably "no" .

you would also need rule support so for instance when the keycode is entered you could it automatically goto home mode, and off course cancel any rules that have already fired to trigger the alarm.

You can change from home to away from the touchscreen. So as long as you have a delay on the alarm triggers to allow you to enter your pin to unlock touchscreen and then change it from away to home. You should be all set.

It all comes down to the question of whether multiple hubs on the same account will work together or not.
