New Peanut Plugs - No Sensor Values
« on: September 09, 2015, 06:47:25 pm »
I just received two new Peanut Plugs via Amazon.  I'm operating them with an Almond+ running firmware version R080.
Both Peanut Plugs will manually switch a load on/off via either the Android App or the Almond+ LCD UI, BUT power, voltage & current values are always 0.  I have tried:
updating the Peanut Plugs firmware... feeds back that firmware (version?????) is up to date... how do we really know if we don't know what it should be or what it currently is???
resetting the Peanut Plugs;
powering my router off/ on;
unplugging/ re-plugging my Peanut Plugs;
removing Peanut Plugs as sensors, then re-adding them;

and have done the above in different sequences.. especially in sequences recommended by other posts.
I cannot get the Peanut Plugs (either one) to update firmware, or to display the power, voltage & current values.

The Peanut Plug I received with my Almond+ DOES work ok (displaying power, voltage & current values).  I believe I first operated it under Almond+ firmware 076.

Any ideas??  Pretty frustrating home automation firmware... and especially for the Peanut Plug which one would think is a "mature" Securifi product.

@ BikerBob,

Our next release of Almond+ software would give you the ability to update the firmware properly on the Peanut plug.
